Davide Cantale

Born in 1985, I had my first experience in the artistic field at a very young age when I stepped on the first stage in elementary school. I played a bush, you couldn't see my face, I didn't have any lines and I remained still... for 40 minutes... but my grandmother said I had been good... so I decided to continue. As a teenager, I took my first steps in the entertainment and animation sector within small agencies, eager to make people smile and give emotions and becoming the idol of the grannies. In the meantime, I began my career in one of the local radio stations in my city, one of those that had a cassette player and with so many cables full of dust that if you moved one, the truckers' shacks entered your frequency... Mr. Liborio for example, a truck driver from Brianza, had a decent audience within my program.

I then moved on to local television, writing television formats and hosting music and entertainment programs while spending my summers as an entertainer in the beaches and facilities of Messina. At the microphone, I also animated events in the squares, those full of people crowded together in August with 40 degrees even in the evening, being very careful not to shout "hands up" if I was in the wind. Despite this, I had a lot of fun and found myself collaborating with the great Italian DJs. My grandmother knew I was good, so I decided to continue.

The desire to grow artistically and to look the spectators in the eye brought me closer to the disciplines of theater and entertainment and so I began the years of theatrical and cinematographic acting, classical dance and for a very brief moment, singing. I immediately got noticed and was called to be part of a company of actors and a classical ballet company that led me to tread the stages of the great theaters of Sicily and Southern Italy. A very hard, exhausting, tiring period. One of those places where you dream about carbonara every night, in short.

"Communicating" but not only with the performing arts, I graduated in "Communication for Marketing, Advertising and Statistical Information". Long title, I know. One of the first subjects was precisely "quickly learn the title of your degree course" and from there, I immediately began my journey within companies as a graphic designer expert in the creation of graphic products for the web and for the GDO and taking care of the image and communication of companies on social media. Meanwhile, the radio led me to animate events and demonstrations in large squares. At the same time, I began to compete on the stages of Sicilian cosplay competitions, winning numerous awards and creating formats and entertainment shows for children and families. My first cosplay, for example, was inspired by a Transformers! Wearable and two meters tall. Beautiful, majestic, impactful. It didn't do anything. It simply stood still like the old people who watch construction sites but without giving instructions on how to carry out the work. From there, however, someone noticed me and I was then called to the jury to evaluate the competitors in the competitions.

My desire to grow artistically did not stop and in the same years I began studying dubbing, becoming one of those who looks at you badly if you ask him to be the voice of the Gladiator.

I landed at IDEAeventi, a container of artists and multifaceted personalities dedicated to entertainment and the organization of special moments. Wow, I'm fascinated (I wrote this last one because the owner is staring at me) and I begin my journey as a video editing technician, telling the most beautiful and intimate emotions in music and images.
